Do you have a catalog?

No, at this time we are not planning to offer a catalog. This is done both from an environmental standpoint (save a tree or several) as well as another way that we are working to keep our prices as low as possible. We come from an extensive background working in the catalog industry and we have made the decision that passing on this expense to our customers does not make financial sense (for you or for us). However, if enough of our customers tell us that they want to receive a catalog we may revisit this issue in the future.

Why is it that sometimes a favorite product of mine is unavailable on your website?

We understand how disappointing this can be and we want to absolutely apologize for those times you find yourself in this unfortunate situation. Most often these occurrences are completely unavoidable. We have chosen to embrace this dilemma on our website as we are committed to buying the finest, freshest spices possible and this typically means that we are dealing with smaller producers and suppliers. Many times, the demands that we place on our supply partners will wipe out their already limited supply! Now while they certainly are appreciative of the business, there isn't a way for them to just quickly crank out more product(s). The only way to really prevent this from occurring would be for us to stock up on inferior, mass-produced spices, and that is just not what we're about.

Many times we will have a pretty good idea of when we will be receiving our next shipment of an out-of-stock item. But if we aren't exactly sure when a particular product is coming in, we aren't satisfied with the quality or if we are aware that it won't be arriving for quite some time, we will remove it from the website so that we don't get your heart set on something we're out of.

What are my shipping choices?

We ship using FedEx and USPS Priority Mail. We also offer FedEx’s 2-Day and Overnight services for when you need your spices in a hurry. For orders shipping by FedEx ground we use both of their ground delivery networks - FedEx Ground for commercial deliveries and FedEx Home Delivery for residential deliveries.

Orders shipping to APO and FPO addresses ship USPS Priority Mail. Please call us (at 888.762.8642) if you require additional information.

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands ship USPS Priority Mail.

We no longer offer shipping to Canada.

When will my order arrive?

We ship from Pennsylvania and most orders will be received within 1-5 business days (click here to see estimated delivery schedule for all US locations). If you need a specific arrival date give us a call and we will gladly let you know what we have to do to get it there on that day. FedEx does not deliver on Sundays and some Holidays. Saturday delivery is available to some zip codes.

Same Day Shipping

Orders placed before 3:30pm Eastern generally ship the same day for in-stock orders using either FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. 

Please note that our 3:30pm Eastern order cutoff time is a company goal that we do our best to meet on a daily basis. Occasionally there may be situations when we will not be able to meet the shipping cutoff goal.

If you have a deadline to meet and must receive your order by a specific date, we encourage our customers to use one of the FedEx express shipping options such as FedEx Standard Overnight or FedEx 2Day which are given processing priority everyday up until 3:30pm Eastern, Monday - Friday.

International Shipping

We ship to all 50 states and US territories however, due to the requirements of international customs we are not able to cost effectively ship to many other parts of the world.

We are committed to ensuring the quickest, most cost effective way to get your products to you, and we hate high shipping rates when we place orders online as well. We charge a $8.99 flat shipping fee for orders under $60. Orders over $60 will be shipped to you for FREE*! If you are in a big hurry to get your spices, you can choose one of our expedited shipping options --- FedEx 2-Day service and FedEx Overnight deliveries. The *Free Shipping Offer is for all orders over $60 in product total shipping in the lower 48 states. Sorry, but this offer does not apply to orders shipping to PO Boxes or orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands. For delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands addresses we ship via the Post Office, and these orders will take approximately 10-14 days. If you are in a bigger rush to receive your order, please call us (at 888.762.8642) and we will work with you to make sure that we find the best price and time frame for this to occur.

We owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women of our armed forces and we want to thank those military personnel who are stationed in the US and overseas by offering FREE shipping to APO and FPO delivery addresses. For FREE delivery to these areas, we ship via USPS Priority Mail and these orders can take approximately 10-14 days for delivery. We wouldn't have it any other way. All SpicesInc.com transactions take place on a secure server. Your information is encrypted before it is sent through the Internet. Of course if you still don't feel comfortable entering your credit card information online, no problem - just give us a call (888.762.8642) and we will gladly take your order over the phone.

What if I need to return something?

Satisfying customers is absolutely our top priority. That’s why we want to make sure that you are happy with each purchase you make with us. We so strongly believe in the quality of our products that if you decide you are unsatisfied with even a single item in your order, you can contact us and we will work with you. Initiate your return within 72 hours of receiving your order. Any returns outside of that 72 hour window, or returns that were “refused at delivery,” will be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50%. We can only accept returns of unopened product at this time. There will be absolutely zero returns, reships, or refunds for products after 30 days. Customers are responsible for any shipping charges on returns or cancelled orders.

What happens if an item is backordered?

While it does not happen often, occasionally we may run out of product when trying to fill your order. Typically we will reach out to you to explore your options in this scenario. You may opt to wait for the product to be restocked or you can ask for a refund on the items that were not in stock. If you choose to backorder your product, it will ship out for you as soon as it becomes available again. All backorders will ship via FedEx Ground or USPS. Unfortunately, if you paid for expedited shipping on your original order, that will not apply to your backorder. If you are interested in expediting your backorder as well, there will be an additional shipping charge.

What are my payment options?

Did you write your password on a tiny piece of paper that you just can't find? We have a simple solution. On the SpicesInc.com login page you will find a section at the bottom that says 'Forgot Your Password?' Simply enter your email address and our system will automatically generate a new password that will be sent to your email address. Once you have this new temporary password, you can use it to log into our site. Go to the login page and enter your email address with your temporary password. You will then be prompted to enter your 'old or temporary password' and a new password. Enter the temporary password that you received in your email and then choose a new password for your account.

Help! Everything in my shopping cart is gone!

Isn't technology great? Not always! Some customers have experienced a glitch where browsers "protect your privacy" by emptying your cart once you log into our website. These browsers think that once you are logged in, you are a different user than the 'anonymous' user you just were. There is no way to recover these items so we recommend always logging in before placing any items in your basket. If this is not an option, or your would feel more comfortable placing your order over the phone please feel free to call us with a list of the items you would like to order.

Did you ship my package yet? If so, where is it?

Every time you place an order with SpicesInc.com you will automatically receive 2 emails. The first one will be sent as soon as your order is placed. This email will have your receipt for your order including your order number and customer ID number. If you do not see this email in your inbox be sure to check your junk mail. The second email that you will receive will include a link to your shipping information. Click on this link to view where your package is currently. If you click on the link and no information is provided, this may mean that a tracking label has been created but your package has not shipped from our facility yet. If you did not receive one or both of these emails feel free to contact us and we can help you locate your shipment.

Do you have a storefront where I can come look at and smell spices?

No, our physical address is where our warehouse and shipping facility is located, but there is no store front. We try our best to provide our customers with outstanding photos of our products on our website so that they can get an accurate view of what their spices will look like when they receive them. If you have any questions about our products, feel free to contact us.

I live nearby. Can I stop by and grab a few spices?

Because we are not a retail store we cannot accommodate walk in orders. We operate on a batch processing system which means all orders must be placed either online or over the phone.

Can I check out as a guest?

We are dedicated to extraordinary customer service. For this reason, we have added the option of checking out as a guest to our website. When checking out as a guest, please know that you will not be able to log in to view any tracking information or previous orders (as an account has not been created). Once you have created an account you will not be able to use guest checkout in the future.

Can I add-on to my order?

Did you forget something? We can certainly add-on to an order that you've placed, but the way we process orders doesn't allow us to add-on to orders after 30 minutes. We can either cancel the original order and you can reorder it with all the items or you can place a second order for anything you missed. That second order will be subject to shipping costs if it is under $60.
