Sweet indeed, mild smoke
This paprika is more sweet than encountered elsewhere. This demonstrates the freshness of the paprika. However, the smoke is very mild. Good grind, some what powdery and easy to use as a rub.

Exceptional
Like one of the other reviewers, I always thought paprika was largely just for color with very little taste. I also make my own spice blends and when I opened the bag of paprika to add to my blackening blend, the aroma was heavenly. The flavor is smoky and adds a wonderful layer to my spice blend.

I have been using both
I have been using both sweet and hot paprika from Spices, Inc for several years now. Love it for it\s freshness and wonderful smoky flavor. Main spice used in my roasted red pepper sauce.
