Do you have a catalog?  top

No, at this time we are not planning on offering a catalog. This is done both from an environmental standpoint (save a tree or several) as well as another way that we are working to keep our prices as low as possible. We come from an extensive background of working in the catalog industry and we have made the decision that passing on this expense to our customers does not make financial sense (for you or us). However, if enough of our customers tell us that they want to receive a catalog we may revisit this issue in the future.

Why is it that sometimes a favorite product of mine is unavailable on your website? top

We understand how disappointing this can be and we want to absolutely apologize for those times you find yourself in this unfortunate situation. Most often these occurrences are completely unavoidable. We have chosen to embrace this dilemma on our website as we are committed to buying the finest, freshest spices possible and this typically means that we are dealing with smaller producers and suppliers. Many times, the demands that we place on our supply partners will wipe out their already limited supply! Now while they certainly are appreciative of the business, there isn't a way for them to just quickly crank out more product(s). The only way to really prevent this from occurring would be for us to stock up on inferior, mass-produced spices, and that is just not what we're about.

Many times we will have a pretty good idea of when we will be receiving our next shipment of an out-of-stock item. But if we aren't exactly sure when a particular product is coming in, we aren't satisfied with the quality or if we are aware that it won't be arriving for quite some time, we will remove it from the website so that we don't get your heart set on something we're out of.

What are my shipping choices?  top

We ship using FedEx and we offer FedEx’s 2-Day and Overnight Services. Our standard FedEx ground shipments involve one of two FedEx's delivery ground service --- FedEx Ground is used for commercial deliveries and FedEx Home Delivery for residential deliveries. We also offer an Economy shipping option for $3.99 and these orders are delivered by the USPS. We reserve the right to upgrades shipments (at our expense). 

For orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, APO and FPO addresses we ship with USPS. For orders shipping into Canada we use a combination of USPS and Canadian Post.

When will my order arrive?  top

We ship from Pennsylvania most orders will be received within 1-8 days (click here to see estimated delivery schedule for all US locations). If you need a specific arrival date give us a call and we will gladly let you know what we have to do to get it there on that day. FedEx doesn't deliver on Sundays and Holidays. Saturday delivery is available to some zip codes.

After you choose—and before you pay—you can modify the arrival date until it fits the price and time frame that works best for you.

99% of all orders placed before 1:00pm ET will ship the same day. Orders placed after 1:00pm ET will ship the next business day.

International Shipping  top

We ship to all 50 states, US territories and we now also ship into Canada. Due to the hassles of international customs we are not able to cost effectively ship to other parts of the world.

We are committed to ensuring the quickest, most cost-effective way to get your products to you and we hate high shipping rates when we place orders online as well. We charge $6.99 flat rate shipping for FedEx Ground (for orders under $35) and we also offer an Economy shipping option for a flat rate of just $4.99 (also for orders less than $35). Orders that are more than $35 ship FedEx ground for FREE. In a bigger hurry then you can choose one the FedEx air options --- FedEx 2-Day service and FedEx Overnight deliveries. See below for Saturday arrival details. For even more info on this please click here.    Shipments to Canada are sent through USPS and Canadian Post for $29.95.

The Free Shipping Offer is for all orders over $35 in product total shipping in the lower 48 states. Orders that ship for FREE are shipped FedEx ground. Sorry but this offer does not apply to orders shipping to PO Boxes or orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, APO, FPO or to Canada. This offer also does not apply to FedEx 2-Day or overnight delivery.

What if I want my order shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, APO, FPO or Canada?  top

For delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, APO or FPO addresses we ship via the Post Office and these orders will take approximately 10-14 days. If you are in a bigger rush to receive your order, please call us (at 888.762.8642) and we will work with you to make sure that we find the best price and time frame for this to occur.

For orders shipping to Canada we use a combination of USPS and Canadian Post and these orders take 10-14 days to arrive. Orders to these areas are not eligible for the Free Shipping offer.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?  top

We wouldn't have it any other way. All SpicesInc.com transactions take place on a secure server. Your information is encrypted before it is sent through the Internet. Of course if you still don't feel comfortable entering your credit card information online, no problem - just give us a call (888.762.8642) and we will gladly take your order over the phone.
