Shortbread Cookies

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Sea Salt


Directions:
1.  Mix together flour and salt in a bowl and set aside
2.  Cream together butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy
3.  Add the flour and salt mixture a small amount at a time, kneading with your hands into a creamed mixture until you have dough which can be rolled, but do not overwork the dough
4.   Turn dough onto floured surface and roll out to 1/4" thickness
5.  Cut into squares and place on an ungreased cookie sheet
6.  Bake at 325° for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown
7.  Cool and store in airtight containers
