The perfect delicious blend of lively spices you can use to give just about any dish a nice bit of Mexican flair. This is an excellent time saving addition to any kitchen where time is of the essence – just add it to your chicken, beef or ground turkey and you have a ton of flavor. We’ve carefully mixed this taco seasoning with the whole family in mind so while it has excellent flavor it is not really hot (it has a just little bit of a kick). If you want to add some more zing to your dish check out our Chiles or you can add some additional Cayenne or jalapenos.
For a quick taco recipe – brown your meat (your choice of beef, chicken or ground turkey) add 4 tablespoons of taco seasoning mix and 8 oz. of water for each one pound of meat. Turn down to simmer, cover and let stand for 10 minutes (stirring occasionally) or until the mixture starts to thicken up. You can also add taco seasoning to bean dishes, fajitas, Taco Casserole or homemade tortilla chips dip (a wonderful substitute for the standard chips and salsa) and sprinkle on Mexican salad, nachos, chili, scrambled eggs and bean soups.
