Tellicherry pepper is believed by many to be the best black pepper that you can get. Many folks refer to it as simply Tellicherry. Named after a port on the Northern end of the Malabar coast the Tellicherry pepper is a high quality grade of uniform, large "bold" Malabar pepper. In the beginning, the northern Tellicherry berries had the reputation for being truly superior in both the size of the berry and the quality of the taste. However, now the term Tellicherry is used more as a designation to a peppers quality rating.

Very high quality, and even more important - they fit my pepper mill very well. I had been buying from another source (think PZ), but their peppercorns were so large, they jammed up my pepper mill.

These, by far, are the best and tastiest Tellicherry Peppercorns I have ever purchased. I use them in all my recipes and as a condiment and compliment to salads, pastas, fresh vegetables, etc. Very uniform in size and very fresh which allows my mill to acurately grind to my liking. Great addition to the inventory!
