Heavily influenced by the subtle flavor and heat of several Mexican chiles this is not considered a smoking hot rub but features deep complexities that one would expect from the smoky flavor of Chipotle Chiles, the mild fruity flavor of the Ancho Chile and the earthy sweet flavor of the New Mexico Chile.

This rub is spectacular on grilled chicken and we have also found great success with it on skirt steaks when used as a fajita seasoning and it is heavenly on chicken wings. When used as rub we have found that 2 tablespoons per pound of meat works best. As with most rubs rub the seasoning evenly onto both sides of the meat and then refrigerate for at least1-4 hours before cooking.

We carry a full line of rubs for those that love to grill or BBQ with some of our more popular being – Pork Stank
, All American Dry Rub, Kickin' Chicken, Memphis Style Rib Rub, Coco Chile Rub and for more chipotle flavor we have our top selling Chipotle Honey Rub.

Hand blended from Chipotle powder, New Mexico Chile powder, Ancho Chile powder, cumin, Mexican oregano, California paprika and sea salt.

A new recipe called for just 2t of chipolte seasoning - well I am so glad I purchased more. This is delicious! Now I need to look for recipes to use it more.

This product has no brown sugar. I tried using it as a rub and it just didn't taste right. Looking at the ingredients, it seems better suited as a chili powder.
