This is our Certified Organic Cassia Korintje hard cinnamon sticks that are sourced from Indonesia. The sticks are approximately 2-3/4” long and as our cinnamon is sold by weight you will get approximately seven sticks in each 1 oz bag (if several of the sticks are broken you will get more sticks in a bag). These Kronjte sticks are a bit darker in color than the ground cinnamon powder as they are harvested from the tops of the Cassia tree where the ground cinnamon typically comes from the more mature bark of the trunks. The Kronjte cinnamon sticks of a more rigid texture with a darker color than the ceylon cinnamon sticks as they are harvested from outer tree bark and then dried in quill pieces.Cinnamon is the world's most popular baking spice and you will  recognize its familiar aroma and taste in breads, cakes, cookies, dumplings, ice cream, pastries, pies, puddings, and pastries.
