Low Sodium Stir Fried Cajun Pork
1 Pound boneless pork loin 1-1/2 tablespoons Domestic Paprika 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Medium Heat 1-1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon Mexican Oregano 1 teaspoon Thyme Leaf 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt 1/4 teaspoon Ground White Pepper 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cumin 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg Powder 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and diced 1/2 tart apple, cored and diced 2 tablespoons chopped pecans 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil Directions: 1. Cut the pork into ½ inch strips. 2. Combine Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Thyme, Sea Salt, White Pepper, Cumin, and Nutmeg in a bowl. 3. Mix well and sprinkle 1-tablespoon seasoning mixture over pork strips. 4. Combine remaining ingredients, except oil, with remaining seasoning in a bowl and set aside. 5. Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. 6. Stir-fry pork 2-3 minutes. 7. Add seasoning mixture. Cook another 2-3 minutes until pork is cooked throughout. Servers 4 |
