This is our Dry Steak Rub that will be a spectacular addition to the favorite griller in your house.  You can also use as a steak seasoning and just sprinkle on to add a jolt of mouthwatering flavor to any steak lover’s favorite cut of meat – whether you are partial to a New York Strip, Rib Eye or a T-Bone.

To use as a rub we recommend 1 tablespoon of steak rub per pound of meat. Sprinkle on the steak and rub into the meat with your hands. Be sure to evenly coat both sides. Once this is done place in a large resealable plastic bag and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before cooking. For best results we like to keep it in the fridge for 24 hours before throwing on the grill.

And if you like steak marinades you can check out our Classic Steak Marinade.

Our Steak Rub is a slightly sweet flavored combination that has a touch of heat and is hand blended from salt, chili powder, granulated garlic, ground cumin, brown sugar, coarse black pepper, dried thyme, mustard powder, Spanish paprika and red pepper flakes. If you are looking for a great salt free alternative check out our Salt Free Steak Rub

This versatile steak rub isn’t just for steaks either as many of our customers love to also use it on burgers, ribs, chicken breasts, shrimp and pork chops as well. If you are a fan of backyard grilling or want to try your hand at BBQ you should give these other best sellers a try - All American Dry Rub, Memphis Style BBQ Rib Rub, Little Rock BBQ Rub, Texas Chicken Rub and for those that love heat our Cajun Rub.

I probably would not have bought this if I had tasted it by itself first. However I am extremely happy with it. It marries with the meat for a well-balanced flavor enhancement on a steak.

I made ribeyes with this rub, let it "soak" in as a dry rub for a couple hours and grilled them. It was phenomenal! I usually make my own rubs, but there is no need when this one is so complete. Highly recommended!
