Simple Madras Curry Sauce
1 Large onion, diced 2 clove garlic, minced 1 apple, cored and chopped 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons flour 2 teaspoon Madras Curry 2 cups chicken stock Directions: 1. Heat oil and butter in large skillet and sauté onion, apple and garlic until tender. 2. Remove from heat and sprinkle with flour and Madras curry powder. 3. Gradually add stock, stirring constantly. 4. Place over heat and cook until sauce is thickened. 5. Use sauce over beef, lamb pork or shrimp and serve with rice. |
