Hot Cocoa Mix Recipe 2 cups powdered sugar 1 cup unsweetened Organic Cocoa Powder 3 cups powdered milk 1 3.4 oz instant pudding mix (chocolate or vanilla depending on what you like) 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt Pinch of Cayenne Pepper Medium Heat Directions: 1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Sift mixture two or three times until it becomes a very fine powder. 3. Mix 1/2 cup cocoa mix to 8 oz of boiling water and stir. 4. Store unused portion in an airtight container. 5. Optional-Top with marshmallows, crushed peppermint candy, cinnamon sprinkles or whipped cream. Servings: 10 Prep Time: 15 minutes Notes: 1. When I first tried this recipe, the only pudding flavor I had was cheesecake. I added it instead of the vanilla and the results were great. 2. You can also substitute Splenda for a sugar free version. 3. This recipe can be doubled, used to fill attractive jars and given as gifts. 4. Also, you can leave out the cayenne pepper and add 1 teaspoon of Korintje Cinnamon Powder and a pinch of Nutmeg Powder. |
