Our Organic Ginger Powder is harvested in China and is the perfect spice for gingerbread as well as ideal for apple pie, biscuits, carrot cake, chutneys, cookies, pumpkin pie, preserves and sweet potatoes. It is also a critical ingredient in curry, masala blends, five-spice powder and ras el hanout.

Works well in combination with Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg, Paprika, Pepper and Saffron. Helpful hint: If you are using powdered ginger as a recipe substitute for fresh, use 1 /2 teaspoon ground for each tablespoon of fresh that is called for in the recipe.
