Zesty Sirloin Steaks
1 tablespoon Chili Powder Mild 1 tablespoon Chinese Five Spice 2 teaspoons Ginger Powder 1 teaspoon freshly ground Malabar Black Peppercorns 1 teaspoon Sea Salt 8 cloves garlic, peeled 2 boneless beef top sirloin steaks, 1 inch thick Directions: 1. Combine chili powder, five-spice powder, ginger and pepper in a small bowl and set aside. 2. Mince garlic and stir in salt. Crush mixture to form a thick paste. 3. Add garlic paste to spice mixture stir to combine. 4. Rub garlic/spice mixture over both sides of steaks. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours. 5. Grill meat over medium hot coals for about 15 minutes for medium rare and 20 minutes for medium well, turning once half way through Serves: 6-8: Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 15-20 minutes |
