Marinated Steak
2/3 cup soy sauce 2/3 cup dry red wine 6 large cloves of garlic, peeled and minced or 3 teaspoons Granulated Garlic 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley or 4 teaspoon Parsley Fresh coarsely ground Malabar Black Peppercorns to taste 2 steaks (about 1 1/2 lb each) Directions: 1. Combine marinade ingredients in a shallow bowl. Add steak and turn to coat. 2. Marinate the steaks in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes or overnight if possible. Turn once. 3. Remove steak from marinade and grill over high heat, 3 inches from heat for 4 minutes per side for medium rare. 4. Remove to a platter and let rest for 10 minutes. 5. Slice steak on the diagonal into thin slices. Note: This recipe originally called for Flank steak for an affordable steak dinner but any cut will work, I prefer to use top sirloin. |
