Marinated Cole Slaw
3 1/2 cups cabbage, shredded 1 1/4 cup red cabbage, shredded 1 cup carrots, grated 3/4 cup celery, diced small 1/2 cup green onions, sliced 3/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons olive oil 3/4 teaspoon Yellow Mustard Seed Powder 1/2 teaspoon Celery Seed 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder 1/2 teaspoon Sesame Seed Directions: 1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. 3. Lower heat and simmer until sugar dissolves. 4. Pour over cabbage, cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Serves: 8 |
