This particular salad is Greek style with garbanzo beans, feta cheese and kalamata olives. The dressing is key here because it is a light and fresh Mediterranean vinaigrette with our Salt Free Za'atar Seasoning Blend that is hand blended from sesame seeds, coriander, sumac, thyme, cumin and black pepper. Keep the dressing light and you can file this one with your favorite light and healthy recipes.
Our Za'atar Seasoning has a nutty and woodsy intensity with an acidic lift that is a bit tart like lemon juice. In addition to using it to make this Greek vinaigrette, you can also sprinkle it on food by itself, mix it into olive oil for a dip or use it to top flatbread.
This Greek Salad recipe is a good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, Folate and Manganese.
