Tuscany Bread Dipping Seasoning

Italian restaurant! We love a great bread dipping oil and seasoning
blend as it can turn just about any home cooked Italian meal into a
gourmet delight. To make a classic bread seasoning dip, mix 3
tablespoons Tuscany Bread Dipping Seasoning with 1/2 cup of your
favorite olive oil.
Italian Seasoning – This is our best selling herb blend which is a classic mixture of the Mediterranean herbs of Basil, Oregano, Marjoram, Rosemary, Thyme and Sage. Italian Seasoning will enhance just about any dish but it of course shines brightest with Italian dishes like spaghetti, lasagna and anything with marinara sauce.
Basil – Wildly popular in American and Italian kitchens, basil can also be found in recipes from the Mediterranean (like pesto, which accentuates this spice). It blends exceptionally well with oregano in just about any tomato based sauce and it partners well with other seasonings, most notably garlic, lemon and thyme. This imported sweet basil is harvested in Egypt and its taste is a little bit mintier than either domestic Californian or French basil.
Mediterranean Oregano – This is a robust spice that is both complex and strongly aromatic. In Italian and Mediterranean cooking it is an indispensable ingredient and its unique kinship with basil makes the two an unbeatable combination when used in pasta sauces, roasted vegetables and most definitely with pizza. Combine oregano with olive oil and lightly brush on foods before grilling, it is also ideal to mix with other spices for homemade salt-free blends. Works exceptionally well in combination with basil, garlic, thyme, and parsley.
