Beer Mustard
1 cup Organic Brown Mustard Seed 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 1/4 cup Yellow Mustard Seed Powder 1 teaspoon sea salt 1/4 cup dark beer 1. Process mustard seeds in a coffee or spice grinder until cracked. Do not make into a powder. 2. Add just enough vinegar to make a paste. 3. Combine salt and mustard powder, stir in enough beer to make a thick paste. 4. Combine the two pastes together with enough beer to make a smooth spreadable consistency. 5. Store for up to 3 weeks in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Yield: 1 cup Prep Time: 15 minutes |
