Caraway Seasoned Cheese Bread
2 cups cheddar cheese 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 teaspoon Sea Salt 1-2 teaspoons Caraway Seed (according to taste) 2 eggs 1 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup butter, melted Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 375°. 2. Combine cheese, flour baking powder, soda and salt, mix well and set aside. 3. Beat eggs, buttermilk and butter with a mixer until well blended. 4. Add egg mixture to flour mixture all at once and mix just until all ingredients are moistened. 5. Pour into 9x5 loaf pan and bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. 6. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert on a wire rack and cool. Yield: 1 Loaf Prep Time: 1hour 15 minutes |
