Zimbabwe Bean Salad
1/2 teaspoon Dried Sweet Basil 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup vinegar 1 small onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 16oz can green beans 1 16 oz can butter beans 1 16 oz can baked beans Directions: 1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a large saucepan over medium to high heat. 2. Simmer about 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 3. Combine beans in a large serving bowl and stir gently to combine. 4. Pour hot dressing over beans and mix thoroughly. 5. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
