Red Enchilada Sauce
1/2 stick of butter 1/2 Teaspoon Granulated Garlic 6 Tablespoons Pasilla Chili Powder or to taste 1 can tomato sauce 2 Tablespoons of tomato paste 1 Cup chicken broth 1 Cup water 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Coarse Grind 2 Tablespoon dried Parsley or 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley Directions: 1. Melt butter in large saucepan. 2. Sauté garlic in butter until lightly browned, then add chili powder thru water and stir. 3. Bring to a boil and then lower heat, simmer for 15 minutes. 4. Stir in parsley. Prep time: 25 minutes |
