Bourbon Barrel Smoked Pepper Steak
While we don't eat as red meat as we used to
every once in a while we really get in the mood for a great grilled
steak. This is one recipe where the name says it all. A simple grilled steak that is loaded with flavor and mellow spice from our Bourbon Barrel Smoked Pepper. Serve this steak with grilled corn and a sweet Vidalia onion all prepared on the grill. Great for Summer cookouts. We like to use flatiron steak, but you could also use a sirloin cut.
We were very excited when we found the artisan craftsman of this smoked pepper in where else? Deep in heart of Kentucky. He cold smokes his course pepper with the wood from aged Bourbon barrels. The flavor is absolutely heavenly.
