Marinara Sauce
1 Tablespoon olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic 1 Cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 Cup diced green pepper 1 Cup diced onion 6 lbs chopped peeled tomatoes or 4 cans 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained 1 can tomato paste 3/4 Cup red wine 3/4 Cup water 1/4 Cup fresh parsley or 2 tablespoons Parsley 1 Tablespoon sugar 1 Teaspoon Mediterranean Oregano 1 teaspoon Sweet Basil 1 Teaspoon Rosemary Leaf 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Coarse Grind 3/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt 1 Bay Leaf 8 cups hot cooked spaghetti Directions: 1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. 2. Add garlic, mushrooms, bell pepper and onion and cook for 2 minutes, stirring often. 3. Add tomato thru bay leaf and bring to boil. 4. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. 5. Serve over pasta. Serves 6 |
