St. Louis Style BBQ Sauce
This is a simple to prepare, classic St. Louis style bbq sauce that is perfect for both ribs and pork steak.
• 2 cups of ketchup
• 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup of water
• 1/4 brown sugar
• 3 tbsp yellow mustard powder
Combine all ingredients and then cook over low heat for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Your sauce should be thin but not watery. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature for approximately 1 hour and then refrigerate.
Makes about 3-1/2 cups.
