Spicy Crock Pot Chili
This is a hearty and warming meal that you can prepare quickly in the morning and your chili is ready for dinner! You only need to brown the ground beef and spicy pork sausage, dump everything else in and cook slowly. Of course, anything that can be made in the slow cooker can be made in a Dutch oven on the stove top or in a slow oven. This is perfect to serve over corn chips or served over warm cornbread. 1 pound lean ground beef (96%) 1 pound turkey sausage 1 large onion, diced 1 large yellow bell pepper, diced 1 poblano pepper, diced 1 serrano pepper, diced 2 chopped ribs celery 2 chopped cloves garlic 1 15 ounce canned red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 1 28 ounce canned diced tomatoes 1 6 ounce tomato paste 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons Chili Powder 2 teaspoons Sea Salt Directions: 1. Brown meats in a skillet 2. While the meat cooks, add the remaining ingredients to a Dutch oven 3. Drain the excess fat off the meat, add to crock pot and stir well to combine 4.
