Latin Caribbean cuisine is a diverse blend of both traditional tropical tastes and multicultural influences. The central feature of this style of cuisine is the almost magical blending of aromatic, spicy, sweet, tart and mild citrus flavors. Our Citrus Steak Seasoning is influenced by this enchanting flavor combination and this seasoning is a perfect blend of citrus and spice whether you are looking for a taste of the islands or just something a little different for the grill.
Hardcore grillers know that the secret to grill success all starts with the perfect rub. Now if you ever go to a BBQ contest you will see that in almost every circumstance they almost exclusively use dry spice rubs and not a bunch of marinades or sauces. As with all of our rubs and seasonings we feel that it is best to rub the seasoning into the meat and then refrigerate for at least an hour before grilling. For optimum flavor let the rub meld with the meat for up to 8 hours before cooking. We have extensively tested this zesty seasoning blend and it gives just a hint of citrus with just a dash of heat. This is not considered one of our spicier seasonings. Hand blended from garlic, paprika, orange zest, chili powder, cracked black pepper and sea salt. This isn't just for steaks either you can also use it for grilling your burgers, chicken or seafood. Some of our other popular steak seasonings include - Steak Rub, Salt Free Steak Rub, Manzanillo Seasoning, Jamaican Jerk, Habanero Chile Seasoning, Cocoa Chile Rub, Espresso Rub, Southwest Steak Rub and Kansas City Steak Rub. |
