This is the Certified Organic version of our Garam Masala. Sometimes referred to as Organic Masala Curry or Organic Garam Masala Spice. Commonly found in Bangladesh, Indian and Pakistan cuisines this is a general purpose, spicy warm (not hot) Indian seasoning blend. Found in traditional Indian dishes dahl, kormas, samosas and tandoori. Used primarily by Indian cooks to season poultry and meat. The exact ingredients in Garam Masala is just as complicated as with many other regional seasoning blends from around the globe as they tend to vary between regions, villages/cities and families. Helpful hint: You should wait to add the ground Garam Masala until towards the end of the cooking process or else the flavor tends to dissipate. Ingredients: cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, pepper, and coriander.
