|This Italian Seasoning is one of our best selling herb seasonings. We like to make sure that we always have a good supply of Italian Seasoning, dry pasta and tomato sauce in our cupboard for any unexpected guests that might drop by.
Italian Seasoning is also incredibly versatile as you can add it to vinegar & oil for a quick salad dressing, marry it with some top quality olive oil and use for dipping bread and of course you can add it to any tomato-based dish – from lasagna to spaghetti to pizza. We also like it added to broth based soups and sprinkled on homemade pizza crust. One of our customer's told us how she loves to mix it with salt free butter and Parmesan cheese to make a spread for crackers.
Italian Seasoning is especially good with vegetables, particularly roasted eggplant, potatoes and zucchini. When Italian Seasoning is blended with olive oil, this seasoning makes a coating that locks in flavors when baking or roasting chicken.
Italian cooks laugh at the notion of our Americanized "Italian Seasoning" as they will quickly tell anyone who'll listen that in traditional Italian cuisine few cooks would actually use herbs sold in blends. Authentic Italian recipes typically call for one or two herbs, but infrequently five or six at once. Most Italian cooks only use fresh herbs and will resort to dried herbs only in extreme emergencies.
Our Italian Seasoning is hand blended from rosemary, basil, oregano, sage and marjoram.
We also offer some other terrific Italian flavors try our best selling Tuscany Bread Dipping Seasoning, Garlic and Herb, Pizza Seasoning and Spaghetti Seasoning.
