… and I am sick sick sick!!! I have been fighting a head cold all week long and yesterday it started to take a huge toll on me and today I was down for the count.
I had a good run on Monday, did my workouts with Ben on Tues & Thurs. I did not run Wednesday. I really want to run tomorrow. I did go to the gym this morning – but we just did my weight and measurements and I went back home. Ben says if I feel ok – I should be good to run because my legs will be ”fresh”. I stayed home from work today (which I NEVER do), slept most of the day, worked a little from home phone calls, emails and that sort of thing.
My wonderful daughter went to get me some medicine and she brought me the beautiful daisies above. They really brightened my day. I don”t dare show you the scary face behind the daisies, because it is puffy and red and I look terrible!
Today is our wedding anniversary
so Greg wished me a ”Happy Anniversary” this morning and gave me a cautious peck on the forehead – no one wants the germs! He came home at lunch to check on me – ”in sickness and in health” – after 27 years – he is one of the ”good guys”. Not quite how I expected to spend today – but I hoping I am better tomorrow and we can go out to dinner at least.
My plan is still to run tomorrow and finish in 35 mins or less. I thought it was a pretty attainable goal – now I am not so sure. Wish me luck – I will keep you posted.

Thanks Jess for the healthy vibes – here”’’s hoping I feel better soon.
So glad you are enjoying the spices – I love experimenting with the different flavors! Greg uses the cinnamon in his oatmeal every morning and when he cooks it – the whole house smells great!!
Enjoy!!
